ESL lessons online?

Can anyone tell me how to access ESL lessons online? An ESL teacher who
will be going to Hungary mentioned this to me as a great resource. I
agree.

Thanks in advance,
Al

Language Loss

I am trying to collect some information for my interpreter in the
Navajo Language program here in payment for her help. She is trying
to find studies which have been conducted on language loss amongst
native peoples of the world with a special focus on native americans.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

How brush up my English?

Hi there,

I’m about to take the TOEFL and TSE tests in October, tests to
certificate the ability to read, write, speak and understand
English, in order to applicate for a university in the USA.  Now,
what do you think to be the best thing to do to get the
possibility to talk a lot in English?  I’d like to travel to the
USA or Canada, perhaps the UK (if I can’t spend enough money) for
up to three weeks.

Is there someone out there who has some experience or good ideas
concerning a good brush-up of a foreign language?  I can read and
write quite fairly and quickly, but the last time I actually spoke
English more than five minutes was in school.

  Thanks in advance

-ant suffix

   Oh Gurus,

Is there any reason "performant" cannot be made into an accepted
word through use?  I don’t see it in the dictionary and hear it often
within the context of computer systems performance.

I’ve researched the acceptable use of the suffix "ant" and other words
that seem to take this suffix to create an adjective in the same fashion
 "performant" would like to.

So, does etymology or symantical rule bar the creation of this word?

Montessori education – bilingual

I have read READING, WRITING AND SPELLING IN SPANISH I by Heidi Spietz.  I
am currently using the Montessori method to teach this language.  I know
that Spietz is going to write a second one teaching French.  Her Spanish
book was good; I checked it out of the library.  Does anyone know of any
other authors who are writing foreign language books which will help
English speakers learn other languages as well as teaching English to
speakers of other languages.   I am particularly interested in the
Montessori method!!  If you can help please e-mail me franni…@aol.com.
