THANKS TO THE USERS OF misc.education.language.english FOR THE RESEARCH LINKS YOU'VE SENT

We had a terrific response to last week’s posting which read in part:

"Academic Directory Needs Additional Research Links Re. education

CAN YOU HELP US?"

We’ve received hundreds of fascinating and usable links from
newgroups throughout Usenet — all of which are currently being

posted on the Homework Heaven site for the use of students all
over the world.

We still need more links, so once again –

***

Homework Heaven (http://www.homeworkheaven.com) is a massive
12,000 link online academic directory designed exclusively for student

use for school-related research projects (elementary school through college).

Homework Heaven charges no access fees, we’re sponsor-supported..

Each one of our educational  links are hand-picked and pre-sorted.

We’re posting here because we are still looking for additional links for
education and we know that users of your group can be most
helpful in this area.

We’d be most appreciative if you could help by sending us the URL’s of any

appropriate links  (which we don’t already have) on this subject.
If we accept your link(s) we’d be delighted to send you a genuine, 100%
pure wood, JUMBO! yo-yo as a token of our appreciation —

Of course, the yo-yo isn’t much of a reward for something as valuable
as good research links — but  you’ll really be helping the 9
million-plus students who currently have access to the Web and who are
in constant need of top-level research sources.

Just email the URLs of the links, and any additional  information
you might wish to include, to: eduli…@jumbo.com.

Thanks –

Judy Breck, Senior Editor

Homework Heaven

P.S.  We’ve gotten several inquiries as to why we scramble the
"FROM" address on our Usenet postings.  It’s simply to protect
us from over-enthusiastic Cancelbotters who erase many postings
to multiple groups, regardless of the content of the postings.

Re: help

Q1. ‘That’ is better. ‘Some’ is too vague. It begs the question ‘How many
tests are there?’
Q2. ‘Completion’ is better. It implies the whole course must be complete
from beginning to end. ‘The End’ implies that somebody could start the
course halfway and still reach the end. They would not have completed the
course.
