A number of English adjectives exist in a form ending on -ic and in a
form ending on -ical. Is there any rule that defines which form to
use, or will only a dictionary help in deciding which one to take ?
Thanks in advance,
Ludo

Hi there,
I just to want thank (thx) all the people (ppl) for (4) their replies.
Most of them voted for QA. But, as I see it (aisi), QA is more common
in the USA, in Australia and Great Britain ‘quality control’ is more
often used.
One sender mentioned, that he dislikes my use of acronyms and short
cuts. I agree, that this is the wrong group to use these. But I am
used to use to save the bandwidth (bw) in the internet, therefor we
use it. That’s all and they ‘come out of my fingers’ as fast as I
think about the text I gonna type.
One british sender teached me about the nick (TheTom) which I use.
That may be an offending nick to any (british) reader. But I did not
want to be offending. It just comes from the IRC nick I am used to
use: It was just ‘tom’ in former times. But that was *not* unique and
so all people told me (after recognizing me): ‘ack, *that* tom’. So
it happened that my nick changed to ‘TheTom’ years ago. Nobody every
told that this nick would be offending. Therefor – I will keep it.
again, thanks for your help (thx 4 ya hlp
