Thai fonts

Hello,
I would like to be able to read  web pages in the Thai language, but
have been unsuccessful in downloading fonts and getting them to work
with my Netscape or Microsoft browser.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I
would also like to be able to type Thai for e-mail purposes.  Any ideas
would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ann  ^_^

English Pronunciation for Japanese speakers materials?

Does anyone know of any good pronunciation material specifically geared toward
speakers of Japanese?  I’m currently using generic pronunciation materials with
several students but really want to know if there is anything specifically
written for Japanese speakers.  Please let me know.  Thanks

could anybody help me? (question)

I read this from ann Landers column.

"I hope this information will help educate your readers so they will not
feel the need to ask tackless questions. – Nameless, Of Course, on the East
Coast."

In the last line, I wonder Why the writer wrote the word "Of Course" ?.

If any idea, Please teach me !

Thanks

CPE vs. TOEFL

Hi,
could someone explain please why the Certificate of Proficiency in English
is not accepted in the US ?
I know that the TOEFL is easier than the C.P.E., but nevertheless I’ve been
told that I should get that Diploma in order to demonstrate my fluency. Does
it make sense ??
Another question… is there any Office in the US or in Italy that can tell
me what my School Diploma is equilavent to ?
Thanx
Caterina

Hello, I’m an Italian teacher.
I would like to know some foreign teachers in order to exchange some
addresses for my pupils (from 11 to 13 y.o.) because they would like
