Looking for English-speakers to work on a new project! Europe is getting
together. With the unification of the ancient continet English as a foreign
language is becoming more and more important. Where would people look for
English language tools and tests first? Right! The World Wide Web. Germany
has got the most internet users throughout Europe, but there are almost no
good websites designed for English learners. This should be changed! We are
looking for English teachers to help us build the best English-test and
English language website in Europe! The central part of the project should
be an online English test that will be modified once a month. There will be
other sections like „Idoms", „False friends", „English on the Internet",
„Business English" etc. The site will be available at
http://www.English-Online.de  which we’ve registred for that project.

I am looking for software to interactively improve Paragraph writing. Does
anyone have any suggestions. I have seen a program called Paragraph Punch by
Merit, but I am only marginally impressed. I thank you.

I want to surprise a French friend at a Christmas party, so I’m looking for
the text of any French christmas song that has a melody that people would
know (ie a song that also exists in English). Does anyone know if Silent
Night or any of the other really well known carols have French
translations?

from all the more well known authors, for free. It is a really good site,
take a look at it at :

I am enquiring if anybody knows of universities looking for instructors
who can teach remotely over the web.  I had heard about some programs like
that where you make up lessons on web pages and then grade them all on the
internet.
