Half Bath??

There are a lot of queer things in naming anglo saxon conveniences.
I think you need to be a native speaker to know what a cloakroom is
(besides the place where you leave your coat in a theatre).
A British-American online Glossary suggests that it’s a "half bath", and
that explanation leaves me even more puzzled. Who knows and can tell?

to be bored out of one's skull?

Hello

Recently, I read the phrase "you must be bored out your skull" in an e-mail
and I didn’t find it in the dictionary.
Does it mean the same like "to be bored to death"? Where is it used? … My
friend who lived in the U.S.A. for five years said that she has never heard
this phrase…

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Englisch-Klausur!!

Hi Liste,

"Most whites still follow a way of thinking which takes an innate inequality
of human beings for granted, with whites being naturally suited for
dominance because of an inherent superiority."

streben."

Meine Englischlehrerin strich mir folgende Fehler an:

mfg,
Martin
